The H30 is a triple-LED powerhouse that reigns as one of the brightest headlamps on the market, delivering a massive 4,000 lumens from its primary XHP70.2 emitter. Its high-capacity 21700 power source and integrated power bank feature make it an indispensable tool for long expeditions where both extreme illumination and emergency device charging are critical.
Auxiliary LEDs on a headlamp are way more important than most people think. A low‑power high‑CRI flood or red LED lets you do close‑up tasks, read maps, or move around camp without nuking your night vision or blinding others. It also saves battery life compared to constantly running the main emitter on low. Once you get used to good aux lights, any headlamp without them feels really basic and limiting.
It is a great powerful headlamp that suits every outdoor activity, it boasts impressive brightness, with a maximum output of 4000 lumens.
I chose the Red + UV options, which are great with the UV for looking at critters in the bush or in the desert. And the red light allows you to :
- Not blind people
- Great for astrophoto and night photo shoot
- Avoid tons of mosquitos and bugs.
I saw comments about the weight of the light. It is a powerful lamp and therefore has the weight that goes with it but I wore it daily for multiple hours myself without ever having an issue or discomfort.
It is IP68 and there is a lockout function, no more bad surprise with light with no juice once you reach camp at night.
I have yet to find a headlamp that can perfectly sustain over 1,000 lumens for three hours. This is a serious product and one of the best headlamps on the market. It is a perfect work light, camp light or search light. The 4,000 lumens is useful for when you encounter a small army of angry and hungry raccoons. And even at this ultra-high output, you have a useful several minutes of light unlike other brands. Impressive engineering!
The auxiliary lights are fantastic and strong -truly producing a brilliant and genuine red and green light. (I have not tested the high CRI or UV variant unfortunately.) In regards to the main center lamp option, go with the warmer, 5,000K option. It is a more natural light and will cause less strain on your eyes during prolonged use.
One minor but critical issue I would address: there needs to be some soft, padded material placed under the plastic mount for the light. it is difficult to wear for prolonged periods of time without causing discomfort. It is easily remedied however with some DIY action.
I've been using the H30 for a long time now and I'm absolutely satisfied! It's so bright that you almost never need full power, but it's always practical to have! The battery lasts extremely long and with the charging function you can even charge your cell phone!
I have had an H30 headlamp for about 4 years now. I used primarily Fenix headlamps previously but I have to say that when Fenix stopped making the HP30 I started looking for another company & I'm glad I did. Acebeams H30 works exactly the same as the day I bought it. It's built like a tank. Now I have had to replace the head band twice (but I wear this on a multi week, if not daily basis, for 4-6 hours at a time). If you plan on using this for extended periods of time you will want to invest in additional high capacity 21700 batteries & a good stand alone charger. I bought mine from Acebeam because you don't want counterfeit batteries exploding or catching fire since you wear this headlamp on your face, so don't be a cheap bastard. You won't regret it.
Might even get another one to add to my AceBeam collection!
This must be one of the brightest headlamps, maybe the #1 brightest, on the market.
Battery life is pretty good, considering how bright it is.
IP68 rating is great.
The head strap is nice and secure.
5000k colour is easier on your eyes especially when it is very dark.
Cons:

It's just best headlamp on the market till now. I'v compared it with Armytek wizzard c2 pro max and H30 won this battle. I would only change a head band (bigger rubber behind the lamp) for more comfortable.
I had the pleasure to test the h30 5000k xhp70.2 model, the additional red one and the nichia hi cri. It is a well-made headlamp with excellent current stabilization. Despite the use of a reflector instead of a tir, the flashlight gives a beautifully diffused light. After descending from the turbo, the flashlight is able to stably hold 1100lm, which is a great result. The use of the 21700 battery gives cool lighting options. Despite the fact that it is not the lightest, the headband keeps it very well on the head. Configuration with a red LED gives great opportunities for use on fish or in the forest because the light does not attract insects, the additional nichia hi cri is great for longer lighting at low power, while having great color reproduction. I sincerely recommend.
This is my newest and most favorite headset. It's extremely bright, evenly balanced in weight so comfortable, UI works well, and works as a powerbank. This is much better than my HD20 which forgets lockout after 20 seconds.
run out so fast. baru je nak beli habis juga. mengida nk headlam ni tp abis. good deal from Acebeam
