The L17 is pretty compact but still very powerful. It feels great in the hand.

The tailswitch is pretty interesting. There is no click, its totally silent. Takes so getting used to but it is a nice feature.

I actually have several L17s.

One is an L17 Green and I have it mounted on one of my rifles. Its excellent for this use. I would highly recommend it as far as an affordable rifle light.

Great silent electronic tail switch with simple UI.... Perfect range at 802 meters "white" just enough spill to still be useful for EDC tasks, that could come down to preference?.. If it didn't reach as far as it dose I would want more flood. This is a great light don't hesitate... I would mount this to my rifle if I didn't already have other options. Plus I like it in my pocket...

Hello everyone, I bought this superb L17 lamp, 1400lm, Range 800m.
The 1400lm are ideal, the battery lasts a long time, the beam is narrow which allows the light to be concentrated in one area. The power of CABDELAS is incredible that is due to the new generation otics without loss of light. To have the same light power you would have to pay 5 times more in other products. It is truly incredible.
It is really ideal for:
Hiking: it is light and fits everywhere for nighttime activities;
Night bike: ideal for its small size to warn cars that you are on the road and avoid accidents and even signal them not to dazzle you.
Security: for security trades, the small size is ideal, to have it on you at all times.
Rescue: the range of 800m at full power makes it possible to find a man overboard very far if his fluorescent vest reflects the light.
Defense: it can allow you to ward off an aggressive animal in the middle of the night with the very concentrated beam, and even destabilize an aggressor or a thief who comes home at night.

I got this for overnight security to have a thrower with access to strobe from the tailswitch and this exceeded those expectations. The cool white emitter and amazing throw paired with the small size make for a perfect small thrower

I have nothing bad to say about this flashlight. Just like the L19 it is flawless and I've been using it daily for nearly 3 years.

By far the best compact thrower, with a very, very strong beam and a silent switch.

This is a perfect pocket thrower, it’s smooth and lightweight and throws really far for the size and really is not that noticeable in a jacket and even in jeans build quality is amazing 5 stars
